The Catholic University of Murcia held this afternoon the welcome ceremony at fifteen pupils starting this training course in UCAMPACITAS program.
These are young people with intellectual disabilities that once this program, now in its fourth edition completed, get The title of Technical Business and Socio activities, after two years of training;
the last one focused on internships.
Employability
Note that all students who have completed this program, which has two fully concluidas-, unique in the region and third in Spain issues have gotten a job.
The Catholic University of Murcia has hired 17 young people, both for Campus Los Jeronimos to Cartagena and San Vicente de Paul School (Stop services such as cafeteria, counseling or library etc.).
Meanwhile, seven other students who have completed studies are already part of the workforce of companies as Obremo, Premium Ingredients, Erosky, El Corte Ingles, Santa Maria del Carmen College, Resort Las Colinas and Mc Donalds.
The ceremony involved Jose Luis Mendoza, president of the institution;
Maria del Mar Painted, program director, and Conchita Ruiz Caballero, Councillor for Equality and Human Rights of the City of Murcia.
