Start the VII Fair where 22 Murcia ONG`Ds Cooperating show their work (02/10/2015)

The councilman of Youth and Cooperation, Rebeca Perez, inaugurated this morning the Cooperating Fair, where participate more than twenty ONG'Ds the municipality.

The 22 associations show their work in the most countries and desvaforecidos envisage activities for the entire population, from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 and Sunday from 12:00 14:00.

The ONG'Ds present at the fair are: Assembly of Cooperation for Peace, Association Makua, Gifts of Love Association, Association Solidarity in Blue in Action, Solidarity Surgery Murcia, Vincentian Development Cooperation Coordinator of ONG'D Murcia, Development and Education Foundation Help Foundation CEPAIM Mainel Foundation Foundation Psychosocial Intervention Diagram, Engineering Without Borders, Institute of Community Development and Masters Mundi, Karit Solidarity for Peace, Manos Unidas, Welcomes Murcia, Doctors Without Borders, Red Cross, SED (Solidarity, Education and Development) Project Friends of Mali and Africa Consulate of Ecuador in Murcia.

As he explained by Rebeca Perez, projects in which the municipality cooperating ONG'D work "covering basic needs for the population of the disadvantaged in the health, education, productive areas, social services, governance and humanitarian aid mainly countries" .

In addition, it noted the head of Development Cooperation, in this way, "health care is provided in doctors' offices, schools are built, promoting productive through the creation of small communities, cooperatives and micro-enterprises."

This activity closing Cooperating Week, where they have held talks, exhibitions and documentary films.

The objective of these activities, stressed Perez, is "to make society aware of the need to help the most disadvantaged and at the same time to publicize the work of the willing".

Cooperating Day, which was observed on September 8, recognizes the work of more than 2,000 Spaniards working in the most disadvantaged areas of the earth.

Coincides with the Millennium Declaration of the United Nations where 189 heads of state pledged to meet the Millennium Development Goals.
