The Governing Board gave the green light to the award of service for the operation of cultural centers and municipal auditoriums with more than 1.9 million euros investment, of maintaining one of the largest networks of cultural services Spain
This contract covers two full annual payments, from October 2015 to July 2017, and includes all activities carried out in cultural centers and municipal auditoriums.
Thanks to this contract out of the various courses that are held throughout the year in these municipal facilities thus providing monitors, technical services and summer schools is guaranteed.
Thus, about 10,000 Murcia can access the available places during the next year for some of the more than 400 activities to be programmed.
The variety of courses is extensive and heterogeneous with twenty different areas visual arts, theater, physical-healthy activities, languages, reading, gastronomy, cinema, art history ...
In this contract the running costs of municipal auditoriums offering around 140 activities of the performing arts and music, in addition to social uses are also included.
Murcia has 49 cultural centers, four of which are located in the urban area and the rest in villages.
In addition, the cultural offer is completed with the five existing auditoriums Beniaján, Guadalupe, La Alberca, Algezares and Cabeza de Torres
