A film series and tourism commemorate the 50 years of operation of the School of Tourism of Murcia (22/09/2015)

A cycle of "Cinema and Tourism" will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the School of Tourism of Murcia.

Seven films, which will result in as many proposals related to tourism in the region, make up the cycle, in which topics such as historic tourism, spa tourism, the city as a film set or tourism will be addressed as a trigger for change the intoned.

The series, which is run by the critic Pascual Vera, will start next September 23 with the film "Pajarico" by Carlos Saura, and the presentation will be present Maria Luisa San Jose, one of the protagonists of the film.

The rest of the schedule will be as follows:

-30 September: "Tales from the TV" (1965), of Jose Luis Sáenz de Heredia.

Topic: Tourism resort.

-7 October: Chapter of the series "The Leper Bishop" (1990) and Block No-Do 1. Theme: Historic Tourism.

-14 October: "Hell promised" (1992), Juan Manuel Chumilla.

Topic: Locations in Region of Murcia.

-21 October: "The lashing the air" (1951), Ramon Torrado.

Topic: Sewer Air Base.

-28 October: "Rapture" (1993) by Mariano Barroso.

Topic: The city as a set.

-11 November: "Somewhere in La Manga" (1970), of Mariano Ozores.

Topic: Tourism as a trigger to change the environment.

All films will be screened in the Regional Film Francisco Rabal at 20 hours.
