The Department of Public Works will remove graffiti and painted in all areas through which passes the Local Urban Trail.
The SL-MU 10 runs through gardens and pedestrian streets of the town, covering 6.7 kilometers in places like the Square, the garden of Floridablanca, bridges, Tatters, Alfonso X, the garden of the Powder, the garden Silk, Plaza de San Agustin or the Malecon.
According to Councilman Development, Roque Ortiz, "this whole performance which we have been doing for some weeks intensive cleaning of different areas of the town. What we want is that users of this trail, enjoy the squares, gardens, and enclaves prettiest in the city and they are in the best possible conditions "
With the Local Urban Trail 'Walk 10,000 steps' the city of Murcia and the Mountaineering Federation of Murcia intended to facilitate the practice of urban hiking, while walking mobility is encouraged by the municipality
This trail has been created to encourage the practice of light exercise, in pleasant surroundings and is marked with a vinyl sheet attached to urban and furniture easily distinguishable.
Those who perform this trail walk 10,000 steps recommended as the optimum distance to travel daily to be in good physical shape.
