The mayor, who has visited this morning the university area to see first hand how they are carrying out these tasks explained that during these first eight days of work has been performed in the following areas:

- Alfonso X and surroundings, from James I to Santo Domingo

- Zone of Santo Domingo, Plaza del Romea, Tatters and Silverware

- Cathedral, Glorieta and Belluga

- Plaza de las Flores and Santa Catalina

- St. Nicholas and Santa Isabel

- Constable, Liberty Avenue and San Esteban

- Perez Casas, Junterones, Battle of Flowers and Primo de Rivera

- Alfonso X, from James I to Plaza Circular, garden of Fame and New Gate

During the day, this work is being carried out in the University Square area, Doctor Fleming, James Laws and Tapia Sanz.

Intensive cleaning is done in shifts day and night.

By day and in the same area of ​​7-14 hours is removed with that scrapers ingrained dirt such as gum or other debris and cleaned and replaced bins, dirt corners and hard to reach places is removed, is etched tracks pedestrian and landscaped areas, signs of walls and lampposts removed and cleaned graffiti.

Councillor Roque Ortiz is now requesting "collaboration of Murcia because the work we are doing from the city of Murcia is useless if after all we do not strive to keep the city clean, taking care because it is ours, and using media that the City Council will offer, as a free service for collecting furniture and large appliances, mobile ecoparks, the cardboard collection service in stores ... "
