Technical Planning, Development and the Ministry of Culture have inspected this morning in detail the bottom of the Old Bridge after landslides occurred late last week.

The City Council in the coming days and urgently, will execute the necessary steps to replace the fallen elements and strengthen existing ones.
These works were carried out after the Ministry of Culture approved the report of activity since it is an element that is in the process of being cataloged as a Cultural Interest.
Following the completion of these urgent works, the municipal officers shall keep under continuous monitoring and the state of the bridge in order to control their perfect maintenance.
In addition, it has informed the Segura basin that has cut the road in the riverbank by fencing and indicated in the various accesses close to pedestrian traffic from the bottom.
Therefore signage will increase while calling on citizens is to respect the existing security measures in order to avoid accidents.
