The Mayor receives the medal of Knight of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Fuensanta (10/09/2015)

The Mayor, José Ballesta, today received the medal credited as Knight of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Fuensanta, at a ceremony held at the Cathedral.

After the Mass celebrated by the chaplain of the Brotherhood, Damian Abellan, it has started the act of appointment of 30 new members whom President Jose Vicente Rabasco, has imposed the medal.

Together with the Mayor, they have been named Knights of the Brotherhood President of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and the Councillor for Education of the City of Murcia, Rafael Gomez.

The Brotherhood of the Knights of the Fuensanta aims for foster devotion to the patron and perform social work.
