1,394 kilos of food will go to needy families in Murcia thanks to the "Bicycle Partnership", an initiative which took place on the occasion of the arrival of the Tour of Murcia in Spain that per kilometer donated Caja Rural the Food Bank 1 kilo of food.
The project, which was jointly sponsored by Seguros RGA, the Caja Rural Group and the Food Bank, brought together many Murcia, including the Mayor, José Ballesta, the councilors Lola and Conchita Ruiz Sánchez, and the Councillor Noelia Arroyo.
This morning, the presidents of the Central Rural and Regional Fund, Nicanor Bascuñana and Juan Andres Jimenez, respectively, have given the symbolic heel totaling nearly 1,400 kilos of food, of which 900 correspond to mileage by Murcia and 500 have donated by the bank for the contribution made by the Mayor and the councilors.
The event, held at the Plenary Hall of the City Council, has had the presence of José Ballesta.
