The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, said today that the problem with clinical teaching at the School of Medicine have a solution if, as establishes a ministerial decree, hospitals are assigned to a single university degree.

Orihuela has demanded the need for a concert with Murciano Health Service (SMS) to implement that provision, and pointed out that once the University of Murcia and claimed the allegiance of the Virgen de la Arrixaca, hospitals and Reina Sofia Morales Meseguer certification of Medicine at the public university.

For the director, this linkage is necessary not only because the data of the same occupation by students of the University of Murcia warrants, but also because teachers providing such teaching have their offices and services on own hospitals.

To Orihuela, the problem was created because at the time when the delivery of these studies to the private university was authorized, was not taken into account at the time also required hospitals where students can do their practice.

The rector expressed his confidence that the Minister of Health solve the problem, because, he said, "has good will, also all wicker is perfect for it and knowing the problem."

It has also reiterated its request that students join the clinical teaching, then, by the peculiarities of the same, then it will not be easy to recover the lost classes.

José Orihuela added that this request should not be interpreted to mean that undermines the Faculty of Medicine, which, again, expressed his full support.
