The councilor of the Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, Jose Guillen, said today that "it is an impudence that the Socialist councilor Enrique Ayuso requested a timetable for the creation of neighborhood councils of the municipality when the socialist group has not provided the together 45 members who have requested them on two occasions in order to proceed to its constitution ".

On July 17 the council Guillen asked the different parties that make up the Municipal Corporation lists with their respective members.

He reiterating the request for the second time the PSOE on 3 August.

In the municipality of Murcia a total of 66 joints, each consisting of nine members currently exist.

"These municipal organs are opportunities for citizen participation and local representation, so that the City Council are working, since transparency and collaboration with other parties, to streamline its constitution," he said.

The City Council and appointed a total of 32 pedáneos last July and, in those districts which have not yet been formed neighborhood councils, administrative tasks continue to develop, because the area councilor has assumed the powers of these bodies temporarily, to avoid administrative delays or blockages.
