More than 100,000 euros earmarked the city of Murcia to eight agreements to organizations representing people with disabilities and family counseling (04/09/2015)

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights, remains committed to supporting various social organizations of the municipality by approving eight cooperation agreements, worth nearly 105,000 euros.

The programs of associations and foundations, are aimed at improving the quality of life and social integration of people affected.

These agreements, which will be held in the year 2015 are:

• Association for people with autistic spectrum disorder Murcia (ASTEAMUR), where 12,000 euros for activities aimed at people with disabilities and whose project is the "Workshop on Social Skills and Communication" are used.

• Down Syndrome Foundation Murcia (Fundown), granting a subsidy of 42,000 euros to the project "Inclusive Leisure for Persons with Intellectual Disability and Shared Housing Program".

• Cystic Fibrosis Association of Murcia, in favor of people with disabilities and with a grant of 8,000 euros for the implementation of the project "Psychosocial Care for People with cystic fibrosis and other diseases Allied".

• Association for Persons with Down Syndrome (ASSIDO), allocating 8,000 for the project "Walking towards independence, autonomy of the person with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities", which will benefit people with such disabilities.

• Murcia Regional Hemophilia Association, worth 8,000 euros to develop the activities of its Work Plan for 2015 for people with disabilities.

• Association of Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped of the Autonomous Region of Murcia (ASPAYM), where the City Council has allocated an amount of 8,000 euros for activities and services for its work program 2015.

• Deaf Federation of the Region of Murcia, (FESORMU), which will have a budget of 9,000 euros to develop its "Programme for the development of the autonomy of deaf people in the municipality of Murcia."

• Center for Family Guidance Association Familiae Mater, granting a subsidy of 8.5000 euros for the development of its project "Integral and specialized care for the Family"
