The favorable attitude of Murcia to organ donation teens do not get fifty percent, also recorded a high rate of undecided, according to the conclusions of the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia by Beatrix in February Sánchez.
The psychosocial profile of the young shown unfavorable to the donation agrees with those who have not received information about it or have addressed the issue in their family environment.
It also occurs in adolescents who show prejudice on handling the body and are not involved in activities on behalf of society, says the study, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude.
The analysis of the adolescents surveyed to carry out the thesis shows that 46 percent were in favor of organ donation, while the undecided reached 40 percent.
The thesis was supervised by professors from the University of Murcia Antonio Rios Zambudio, Pablo Ramirez Romero and Pascual Parrilla Paricio.
