Complete works of Alfonso X the Wise drag (28/08/2015)

Alfonso X the Wise Avenue now has new power and new asphalt.

The Department of Public Works has worked these last weeks of August in the proposed underground low voltage line for power supplies to meet the needs of the events held in this central route.

The work consisted in taking advantage of the processing center located in the municipally owned Teatro Romea, install one (lateral Archaeological Museum) along the avenue, west underground line by placing two closets road up to the entrance the courtyard of Clear and Perez Casas.

Its location was chosen taking into account the situation of trees, distances to deliver the electrical charge and the reduction to the essential minimum of wiring.

Each will have an output of 85 kW, and includes conventional shots and other small supplies to major powers.

In order to minimize the visual impact on the outside they have been placed photographs of old Murcia: one of the time of construction of Alfonso X Avenue and another in the square of Santo Domingo.

The work began on day 6 and has ended this morning with the paving of the road.

Councilman Development, Roque Ortiz, explained that "Murcia, a large city, must adopt forms and ways of a big city, and that involves paying attention to the aesthetics and image of our streets and squares".

The mayor added that "Alfonso X is the heart of the city and, therefore, a basic element in our campaign beautification of the urban image that we will carry out over the next four years"
