The City Council has acknowledged in writing that effectively NOW MURCIA irregularities are occurring in the facades of the Hotel Victoria the municipal group reported on 13 July.

The Consistory advises that after inspection in connection with the allegation of NOW MURCIA, have been found "on all four sides the presence of elements that are not consistent with the rules of Pecham (Special Plan of the Historical Site of Murcia)" , so they will instruct the property with the corresponding actions.

We hope that the PP actually carry out the necessary actions and the monitoring thereof, for the property to recover the appearance that its architectural and historical value require.

NOW MURCIA reported last July 13 at the Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta of the building known as 'Hotel Victoria' at the Martinez Tornel plaza Murcia, has gradually become a horrible advertising panel because the facades of commercial basement of the building have been occupied by billboards, signs, awnings luminous and permanent and fixed character on the facade.

It recalled that the municipal formation is a listed building with protection three and included in the Historic Art of Murcia (Pecham), declared of Cultural Interest (BIC).

Article 9 of the Revised Ordinances Regulatory Plan Pecham expressly prohibits temporary or permanent billboards and advertising posters.

It further states that the presence of any poster, sign or bars in front should be integrated into their design while identifying labels or signs will be installed in the holes without protruding from the front line, recommending the use of single letters.

This law also requires that awnings and additional elements to the facade must be jointly designed and integrated into this façade.

Therefore, building facades are not adjusted as described in this article, spoiling the central tourist area, and produce a sense of abandonment and neglect, it still makes worse the presence of graffiti and graffiti.
