Reaching an agreement for students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) practices conducted in the offices of the City of Murcia or the subsidiaries of the Local Administration has been one of the issues addressed this morning by the Mayor, José Ballesta, and UPCT Rector Jose Antonio Franco, at the meeting have remained.
This first meeting, held with formal character, has also served to address the adoption of a cooperation agreement in areas of interest between the council and the educational institution, in which more than 1,300 students studying in the municipality of Murcia.
The rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has used the visit to inform José Ballesta on projects that develop teachers, researchers and students UPCT linked to the municipality of Murcia.
Among other issues, the Polytechnic has investigated heavy metals from the soil of the city of Murcia;
interventions in the Cathedral and analyzed proposals to improve the quality of urban life in Infante Juan Manuel neighborhood.
