The professors of the Faculty of Communication at the UCAM, and coordinators of the research group DIGITALAC, Isabel and Angel Pablo Sarabia, Cano participated in Bremen (Germany) in the third meeting of the European IDEA-C project that seeks to address the lack of awareness policy at European level and promoting democratic participation in this area.
The project, led by the Italian town of Geraci Siculo, organizes meetings for connecting academics and experts to EU citizens through debates and activities they want to give the latter the opportunity to express themselves about how they see the European Union , which represents for them and what they expect from it, to encourage democratic and civic conscience.
One of the ideas learned in one of the meetings in which participated the professor of the Catholic University of Murcia together with representatives of France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy, is that European citizens are aware of belonging to an organization more broader than their own country, but most see it as a theory, failing concrete results in their daily lives.
