Now Murcia regrets that the city stops too late works on the bridge Aljucer (21/07/2015)

The opposition party believes that the key to preventing such incidents is to be declared BIC network of ditches, something that opposes the City

MURCIA NOW regrets that the city of Murcia has ordered the suspension of works on the canal Alguazas too late, when the damage on the bridge blocks the eighteenth century is already serious and irreparable.

MURCIA now was reported last Friday that the bridge was being destroyed by the construction of the electrical conduction of the road to El Palmar.

The news, accompanied by shocking photos, has had during these days a wide impact on social networks and media, so it seems that the Popular Party only reacts when problems urgently acquire informative dimension, especially as they approach one election period (in this case, the general elections in autumn).

The opposition group said that it would be best that Ballesta not act to beat eco informative but expressing a genuine interest in heritage protection.

The main thing is the prevention of damage to property, no damage when the stoppage has already been done and is irreparable.

In this sense, NOW MURCIA demands the withdrawal of lawsuits against the statement as a Cultural Interest (BIC) network of ditches of the Huerta de Murcia.

If City Council and had not prevented the BIC declaration of the water network, these elements would no disappearing.

The training that leads Alicia Morales points out that the protection and enhancement of heritage is a broad front of economic wealth and employment for the town, but before this the PP shows blind, destroying the heritage systematically, as has happened to Monteagudo environments and the Malecon, mills, tower-houses, dams and so on.

For NOW MURCIA very paradoxical, plus implausible that the Mayor and Town Planning, with a recent peak at the head of regional powers and Urban Development last, now flying the flag of the protection of Huerta and his heritage, after years of systematic destruction.
