The University of Murcia has offered today to the various municipalities in the region to contribute to disseminating it throughout the world through student exchanges and faculty and administrative staff and services.
The offer was made during the meeting held in the building of convalescence, home of the Chancellor, which were attended by a thirty mayors, mayors and councilors.
The Vice Chancellor for Coordination and Internationalisation, Professor Bernardo Cascales, said that the University of Murcia ranks fourth nationally for number of Erasmus Mundus students.
Erasmus mobility in countries within the European Union, the University of Murcia reaches 2,000 participants.
To Cascales, municipalities can leverage the mobility to publicize its heritage and its natural resources and of all kinds in the world, "because these participants may serve as ambassadors of the region."
The Vice Chancellor has indicated that at present are more than a dozen councils that support the students in their respective municipalities participating in these mobility plans, and encouraged the others to do the same.
The University of Murcia offers its services to municipalities said Cascales- to help promote by all countries.
Finally, the Vice Chancellor has referred to mobile applications prepared by this educational institution, which has said it is the worldwide laboratory Banco Santander for the development of new applications of Intelligent University Card (TUI).
