Murcia has never forgotten the victims of terrorism, including Miguel Angel Blanco, in whose memory the City Council this morning held an event commemorating the eighteenth anniversary of his assassination.
The event has taken place in the garden named councilor from Ermua in Bacons Bridge, with the assistance of the council Lola Sanchez, head of Traffic Safety and Civil Protection, and Mario Gomez Figal spokesman Citizens, plus vocal municipal and neighbors together.
The permanent reminder of Murcia to Miguel Angel Blanco is also reflected in the number of streets, squares and gardens that bear the name of Councillor in various parts of town, including Santiago El Mayor, Barrio del Progreso, Valladolises, Garres , Monteagudo, Cobatillas, Lobosillo or Bacons Bridge.
