Now Murcia, only training has always opposed points 5 and 6 of the motion (10/07/2015)

Murcia regrets now that talks to modify paragraph 5 have taken place behind closed doors and no door in plenary

The inflexibility of the PP to the possibility of eliminating the point 5 of the Motion on the Excavation of the High Speed Line (AVE) in the city of Murcia and the threat of the PSOE to abstain if there was unanimous (with which would have gone ahead the motion without amendment) have led to Murcia now support the motion tabled today in Parliament.

This motion has undergone a minor change in paragraph 5 that Murcia is not enough now, but given the lack of room for negotiation has decided to support by responsibility and commitment to citizenship given the urgency of taking action on such an important issue like this.

At its meeting on 30 June between all local groups to prepare the text of the motion, only now Murcia opposed points 5 and 6, which were added by the PP (next to 4) to the three proposed points Burying the Platform Pro.

Now Murcia estimated point 5 left a door open to non-stoppage of the arrival of the AVE on the surface, and that the report of the Legal Services of the Municipality to that point 6 was referring was not essential.

That day, a break in the meeting was held to Murcia now considered its position on the points added by the PP to the motion, which had been signed by the other groups.

Now Murcia contacted at that time with representatives of the Platform Pro Underground and expressed his disgust at points 5 (especially) and 6, but after urging us from the platform was adequate to sign the motion, so we did.

Today, all opposition parties have come to the House with reservations to paragraph 5, which has led to a break of nearly an hour, in which the PP has been adamant about the possibility of removing that point and the PSOE has stated if there was no consensus among all, it would abstain in the vote.

This situation has led to the amendment of Section 5, which now states that section 2 (a work stoppage) shall be without effect if a previous study of the addendum is produced by local groups and is considering making "post" extraordinary plenary session.

On point 6 Councilwoman Alicia Morales stated in Parliament today not considered essential to a report of the Legal Services of the City, but since going to keep this point, it is convenient to put a time frame.

From Murcia Now we regret, moreover, that the meeting of the council to discuss the modification of the motion was made behind closed doors, not in the full front of the residents present and the media.
