The University Clinic of Integral Vision (CUVI) of the University of Murcia, Campus de Espinardo, makes eye tests this week to about hundred children of the Sahrawi camps who spend the summer months welcomed by families region.
Children have good eye health, with some cases of conjunctivitis, Dr. Felix Varona said during a visit to the rector CUVI Transfer Entrepreneurship and Employment, Francisca Thomas.
"In fact, these children have great visual acuity and myopia is virtually nonexistent in them, but this year we have observed higher incidence of astigmatism," adds Varona.
The revisions, free of charge, are performed by professionals CUVI center headed by Professor Edmundo Uson.
Next week will be the turn of the dental checkups by the University Dental Clinic (Hospital Morales Meseguer).
