The City Council increased the budget by 12.4% this year to finance the activities of the 12 senior centers in the districts (08/07/2015)

The 64 centers participating districts of the call holding municipal boards

The largest in the municipality are recipients of numerous programs and activities promoted by the city, many of which are channeled through the network of social centers, neighborhoods and districts.

These 76 associations spread throughout the municipality, have become in recent years in centers that bring together the social and cultural life of the population.

Currently, with more than 35,000 members over 60, who are in these locations in response to their needs and improving their quality of life, thus fulfilling one of the fundamental objectives that the City works.

Within this global program, the Board of Governors has approved in its meeting today the draft financial subsidy to finance the activities of the twelve centers located in neighborhoods.

These centers Infante Juan Manuel, The Fame, The Fleet, La Paz, San Andres, San Basilio, San Juan, Vistabella, San Anton, San Miguel-City Center, Vistalegre and El Ranero.

The amount of aid this year amounted to 56 689 euros, representing an increase of 12.4% over the previous year.

Currently 64 other centers in districts whose grants are awarded directly by the respective Municipal Councils there also.
