The Mayor, José Ballesta, has been instructed to immediately convene a meeting of the Office of Accessibility, which are part organizations working in the field of disability, to drive projects to enjoy a city without barriers.
This was announced by the Councillor for Social, Conchita Ruiz, after the meeting that both have had with Carmen Gil, president of FAMDIF / COCEMFE.
The priority is to ensure that all construction projects, reform in public and otherwise, respond to basic parameters, so that anyone, with or without disabilities, find a city without barriers or obstacles.
With this task, the Council aims to continue counting as usual in collaboration with the associations to continue making city.
In addition to receiving any kind of initiative, suggestion or complaint about an existing deficiencies, the Office of Accessibility is that any new project is previously reviewed both from a technical point of view and for this advisory committee.
