WHO Director denies link between electromagnetic emissions and diseases (24/06/2015)

The director of the Department of Public Health and Environment of the World Health Organization (WHO), Maria Neira, said today in Murcia so far there have been many studies and has shown no relationship between cancer and electromagnetic emissions and other diseases.

Neira has made these statements at a conference at the University of Murcia, which has spoken of the effect of these issues and challenges facing public health.

The ceremony was also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Sustainability, José María Abellán, and Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the educational institution Alberto Torres.
