The University of Murcia held a tribute to the historical professor of the Faculty of Arts of this institution Manuel Muñoz Cortés, fifteen years ago now deceased and that this July would have turned one hundred years of life.

The Hall of the Faculty hosted a panel discussion, moderated by Professor Francisco Javier Diez de Revenga and the participation of four disciples of the honoree, the professors Carmen Agulló Romance Philology (University of Castilla-La Mancha), Pascualita Morote (University of Valencia ) and Pilar Diez de Revenga (University of Murcia) and the director of Senior Hall of Murcia educational institution and biographer of Muñoz Cortés, Maria del Mar Albero.

The event was organized by the Royal Academy Alfonso X the Wise and the departments of General Linguistics Spanish Language and Spanish Literature and Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Murcia.
