Murcia's change requests that school canteens are open during the summer (16/06/2015)

Murcia has directed a change inside the mayor of the municipality communication, José Ballesta, requesting the establishment of an urgent plan to open school meals during the summer.

Sergio Ramos explains, Councilman Murcia's change, this proposal seeks to meet the demand of families with economic difficulties to meet the power of the smallest regularly.

Ramos has considered that, at least, should ensure the opening of school canteens to address issues identified by the Social Services of the City Council and the Ministry of Education.

The mayor has asked Ballesta to urge the Regional Government to implement the plan as of July 1.

In case the Autonomous Community does not accede should be the Town Hall who set up a subsidiary manner, according to Ramos.

The plan would be coordinated with the City Summer Schools to give a complete service to the neediest families in the municipality.
