The University of Murcia yesterday held the awards ceremony for the winners and winners of the IX Olympiad of classical languages ​​of the region, organized by the Section of Murcia of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies.

In Greek, the first prize went Zunica Alfonso Garcia of the Marist College Merced Fuensanta de Murcia, and the second in Raquel Martinez Aparicio, IES Infante D. Juan Manuel and Laura Munoz Fernandez, IES Mediterranean (Cartagena ).

Alfonso Zunica repeated first in the form of Latin, ex aequo prize awarded to Daniel Granados Meroño, IES El Bohio Cartagena, while the second was for Maria Lorente Alvarez, a student of IES Espada.

The ceremony took place in the House of Arts, with the assistance of the Vice Chancellor for Communication and Culture, Jose Antonio Gomez;

Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Pascual Cantos, and the president of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies, Professor Maria Teresa Beltran.
