the Eucharist presided by the Archbishop of Valencia be held, Cardinal Antonio Cañizares

Tomorrow, Friday June 12, the Catholic University of Murcia appoint Stephen P. Abelow, director of the Clinic of Sports Traumatology Lake Tahoe (Nevada, USA) and one of the references in the study of cartilage, Doctor Honoris Causa the institution, on the occasion of the celebration of the Feast of San Antonio de Padua, patron of the UCAM.

The events begin at 10.30 am at the Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos with the celebration of the Eucharist presided by the Archbishop of Valencia, Cardinal Antonio Cañizares.

This appointment joins and doctors Honoris Causa in the field of health: Lars Peterson, professor of orthopedics at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden);

Juan Jimenez Collado, professor at the Royal Academy of Medicine;

Juan Carlos Izpisua, researcher Gene Expression Laboratory at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla (California, USA);

René Verdonk, professor emeritus and former director of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology State University of Gent (Belgium);

Antonio Lopez de Silanes, who was promoter of the Mexican Foundation for Health (FUNSALUD), and Dr. Pedro Guillen, extraordinary professor of Sports Traumatology and honorary dean of Medicine degree UCAM.

These also add in other areas, Joaquin Navarro Valls, a physician and Spanish journalist (he was spokesman for the Vatican for 22 years, coinciding with the pontificate of John Paul II);

Father Abelardo Lobato, Dominican (former president of the International Society Thomas Aquinas);

Bishop Javier Azagra, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Cartagena;

José María Aznar, former Prime Minister and president of the FAES Foundation;
