"The problem is that college radio still can not broadcast on FM" (04/06/2015)

Miguel Angel Ortiz, president of the Association of University Radio of Spain (ARU) has been one of the speakers who participated in the twelfth meeting of college radio and the V Ordinary Assembly of the ARU being held today in the UCAM

"The UCAM offers an extraordinary environment for the practice of the profession of journalist. The university radios which we do consider ourselves culturally radio and all changes to legalize our emissions under the Ministry," said Miguel Angel Ortiz, president of the Association of University Radios (ARU) in the XII Meeting of University Radio of Spain, which was held at the Catholic University of Murcia.

During the day, they participated 16 college radio from all over Spain of the 23 that make up the ARU, among which are Info Radio Universidad Complutense de Madrid, UPF Radio at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, ​​Radio Universidad de Salamanca or Uniradio of Huelva, among others.

Isabel Garcia and Mari Carmen Robles, UCAM iRadio coordinators have argued that with the V Ordinary Assembly of the ARU "will face problems and difficulties that the current college radio and assess how it can help young students to join the mean radius ".

Also during the day it has conducted a symposium on the role of college radio as a platform to promote musical talent and a panel discussion in which students and alumni have participated as speakers participating in music programs iRadio UCAM.
