One year, the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has publicly expressed his support for the awareness campaign organized by the Murcia Association against Cystic Fibrosis to commemorate the National Day of Organ and Tissue Donor, celebrated the first Wednesday in June.
Accompanied by the Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, with the presence of President of the Autonomous Community, the Government Commissioner responsible for the Ministry of Health and the Association they have formed the "puzzle solidarity" with the message: "You breathe without thinking, I do not think more than breathe."
The initiative, which took place in the Plaza Belluga, aims to promote organ donation and Murcia society aware of its importance.
Cystic fibrosis is a chronic disease that currently has no cure and affects the lungs and pancreas.
When causing serious and irreversible effects there is the possibility of lung transplant and / or liver.
