Exits the European'Jornadas I + COM + pri: Skills Básicas' (21/05/2015)

The Hall of the UCAM has been the scene of the second and final day of the 'European Conference I + COM + pri: Basic Skills'.

In the meetings held it has been shared among the speakers, teachers and pupils, analysis and best practices of basic skills in the classroom.

Antonio Calderon, principal investigator and professor of the Faculty of Sport of the UCAM, was pleased with the great reception that have had these days, stating that "only a starting point, there is much to go," adding that "Forums like this help to put into discussion on all subjects that make good practice in basic skills".

The morning began with the presentation of project results by Lourdes Meroño, a member of the research team I + COM + pri, who explained what was the process design and validation of the three questionnaires that seek the perception of students and teaching based on learning basic skills.

In this last session was attended various specialists in the field of education as Florencio Luengo, general coordinator of the Atlantis Project and Project COMBAS;

María Tornel, professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication UCAM;

Beatriz Sierra, professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Oviedo;

Miguel Angel Jimenez, professor at the University of San Vicente Martyr;

and Marco Rieckmann, Professor of the University of Vechta (Germany).

They shared their knowledge and views on the core competencies.
