A conference at the University of Murcia study the main challenges of the Water Law (19/05/2015)

The Tajo-Segura joint use, exploitation of groundwater and the water economy are some of the topics for discussion and debate that will be addressed in the Congress for Water Law, which was presented today at the University of Murcia.

Professor Teresa Navarro, secretary of the Institute of Water and Environment and director of the meeting, has been commissioned to detail the content of their sessions, to be held on 5 and 6 November and the deadline for registration has been open.

This professor has said during the presentation ceremony, held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia, that during those two days will also be discussed issues such as the new perspectives in water management, efficiency in agriculture, charging water and the environment.

For the organizer of the Congress, it will be "a meeting and discussion forum" in which teachers take part in Spanish and foreign universities and other specialists.

For its part, the dean of the center, Professor David Morillas, stressed the same category therefore study topics such as scientific quality of the participants.

The rector, José Orihuela, has especially stressed the importance of water issues have in the region of Murcia and the high number of specialists available to this educational institution.
