The municipal board for the prevention, monitoring and control of truancy has agreed on several measures that will allow the centers to have more information when dealing with cases of truancy.

In this sense, it has agreed to forward to the beginning of the school year to a basic report on the steps to follow in case of truancy schools;

and submit a written set of the director and councilor in the Municipal Education program reporting absenteeism.

Likewise, the municipal board has studied the cases received and has proposed improvements to the Regional Plan for Prevention, monitoring and control of absenteeism and dropout (RESP) of the Autonomous Community and the shortening of the open files.

The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, presides over the municipal board of absenteeism.

Social Services City of Murcia has 19 social workers in area, 3 community social workers and support staff of the 3 Centres of Social Services, as well as support services Mobile Emergency Social Care (Semas) to cope truancy cases.
