The candidate for mayor of Murcia today announced the election programs for neighborhoods and districts and stated, along with the socialist candidate for president of the Municipal Councils and District, its commitment to the third ballot and conduct a thorough review of the operation and financing of the Boards
The PSOE's candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Ignacio Gras, today held a meeting at the Shrine of Fuensanta, where has also presented election programs for neighborhoods and districts which are already posted on the website www .joseignaciogras.es- and has expressed its commitment in favor of direct election of village headman of the Municipal Councils and District.
"It's the only way to strengthen democracy in neighborhoods and districts" -has defended Gras- who has said that the time has come that are the citizens who decide who their top representative on the boards, and not as usual has been making the Government in the City Council, finger and unilaterally.
With this firm proposal, the Socialist candidate reaffirms its support for the so-called "third urn" and to conduct a thorough review of all matters relating to the operation and funding of the Municipal Councils and District.
"We must move on decentralization, making an equitable distribution of budgets and the Boards to manage their resources, together with associations and groups, as savvy maximum priority needs that need to cover their neighborhoods and districts," he says Gras.
The socialist candidate has emphasized the importance of every neighborhood and hamlet has its own program.
"These are programs designed to proposals that have sent us their people who best know their area, they know what they need, what their problems and provide solutions."
