The Permanent Commission of the Council of Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Murcia has issued a statement expressing "full support and backing" to the decisions taken last week by the Heads of Internal Medicine of public hospitals Morales Meseguer and Reina Sofia.
The Department states in his writing that those decisions were "in defense of the common interest of preserving a practical teaching with the minimum quality of students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia", which "need the resources Public hospitals are available primarily public education, as required by the Convention ".
"With the entry of students of Medicine UCAM, the statement said, it is hurting teaching students at the Public University of Murcia."
The text concludes stressing the "urgent need" for the operation of the University of Murcia Joint Committee SMS, to regulate these situations.
