The University of Murcia held on 13 and 14 May Centum International Week, organized to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of International Relations of the educational institution event.
With the slogan "Travel Centenario", the conference will feature strategic entities for the University of Murcia in their challenges of internationalization, such as Banco Santander (supporting since 1997 the university through Santander Universities), the DC Thader or Cajamurcia Foundation.
The opening session, which will be inaugurated by the governing José Orihuela (University of Murcia) and Jose Antonio Franco (UPCT) and the Director General of Universities of the region, Luis Javier Lozano, include a technical seminar on Erasmus + program and good practice management offices and international projects.
On Thursday, the CEO of Banco Santander and Santander Universities global director, José Antonio Villasante, will preside over the presentation of credentials to the students of the institution Murcia participate in mobility programs during the course 2015/16.
It also contests awards Ingenio Santander and Short Story Thader-University of Murcia, both of which are intended to financially assist students with mobility grants will be awarded.
The activities will close with an act of recognition of the collaborating institutions International Relations, while there will be a brief tour of the 25-year history of this.
In addition, the University of Murcia has welcomed this week the "Erasmus Staff Training Week", which brought together representatives of 11 Spanish universities and more than 20 European and Latin American, Asia and North Africa.
In this context, Luis Delgado, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, gave a lecture about the internationalization of European universities.
