Gras commitment to boost the local economy with the help of the self-employed and social economy enterprises (11/05/2015)

The PSOE's candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Ignacio Gras, again reiterating that "listening to groups, associations and organizations is fundamental in putting in place measures and coordinate efforts to achieve maximum goals."

So Gras today held a meeting with the coordinator and the former general secretary of the Union of Professionals and Self-Employed (UPTA) Murcia, Enrique Rios, and Mamen Martinez, respectively, who have handed them their concerns and proposals.

The socialist candidate said that "focus our efforts on youth employment and long-term unemployed people".

To do so "we have to work on rebuilding the citizen, business and social fabric of Murcia in order to put employment and care for people standing in the center of our policy."

An agile management

Another issue on which he has insisted Gras refers to streamlining bureaucratic procedures in getting approval for the creation and establishment of businesses in the municipality and licenses.

"We need to simplify and eliminate administrative obstacles deadlines."

The implementation of business incubators is another objective that the Socialist candidate, creating space for new opportunities to facilitate entrepreneurship and encourage cooperation and networking strategies between different empredendores arises.

Gras also stressed the importance of promoting the creation of cooperatives and small businesses.

As for the local trade he has emphasized the urgent need to protect, support and promote it.
