By the Group of Public Safety Commissioner District of San Andres it is proceeding to the monitoring and control of the taxi drivers, known as "pirate", mostly of Moroccan nationality, who frequent the bus station in the city of Murcia.

Indicative different police have among their responsibilities to guarantee public safety and crime prevention;

in pursuit of these objectives in an environment so busy as is the bus station of San Andrés, various patrols National Police proceeded to identify various people, noting that some offered shuttle people without a license, being warned of the irregularity of their business and that they could be punished not leave.

After surprising the same people again and repeatedly, in the same place, offering services such as taxi drivers, police officers proceeded to take minutes and propose to sanction for disobeying the mandates provided for in the Basic Law for the Protection of Public Safety.

These interventions - already extended a total of ten minutes of "pirate" taxis - aim to eradicate this type of illegal activity on the part of offenders because, in addition to altering the security and peaceful coexistence, cause among travelers visit our city an unacceptable image.

The interventions are being carried out by officers of the Police District of San Andres Police Headquarters of Murcia.
