Serna (UPyD) defends local trade "as a source of local wealth and employment" (08/05/2015)

The formation magenta candidate for mayor of Murcia, which has begun the campaign visiting neighbors and shops in the neighborhood of El Carmen, proposes a municipal plan for the transfer and maintenance of traditional businesses

Ruben Juan Serna, candidate of Union Progress and Democracy for mayor of the city of Murcia, wanted to start the campaign in the district of El Carmen "as one of the great historic neighborhoods of the city and has the greatest population."

Thus the candidate has visited the streets, shops and stores of El Carmen, affected by various problems such as the burying of the tracks, cleaning or prostitution.

Serna said that small businesses and neighborhood shops "are impaired," and proposes its rehabilitation through a municipal plan for the transfer and maintenance of traditional businesses.

"All this," he explains, "so they can continue to open business premises and threatened by a retirement or closure."

Also, another initiative of training magenta is the implementation of the so-called 'second chance', by exempting or reducing the costs of opening a second business.

Serna explained that since UPyD "defend traditional commerce and momentum, as opposed to the model of large areas developed and has involved the lace small stores."
