Measures for easy drive access to employment under 25 (08/05/2015)

Facilitating access to employment for young people is the goal of the Youth Guarantee system that was presented this morning in the city of Murcia.

The Councillor for Youth, Rebeca Perez, opened the conference and highlighted the importance of such mechanisms to facilitate the recruitment of young people and improve their training are articulated.

At the conference also he participated the Director General of the Regional Employment Service and Training, Alejandro Zamora López-Fuensalida.

The Youth Guarantee is a commitment of the Public Administration and Public Employment Services to provide work experience, training or refresher courses for young people in a maximum period of time after losing their job or after concluding his way through the education system formal, according to the guidelines set by the European Union.

This measure seeks to ensure equal opportunities for young people in the labor market

Companies that hire young people enrolled in this system as a profit bonus of 300 euros for 6 months in the contributions to Social Security, in practice contracts with incentives of up to 100% in business to social security contributions, contracts for training and learning with a reduction of up to 100% in employer contributions to Social Security and the same bonus for part-time contracts that enable young people to continue their studies.

This initiative is promoted by the Government of Spain in collaboration with the autonomous regions and the municipalities.
