Research last March began when the Civil Guard became aware of some alleged threats against the manager of a company Torreagüera horticultural products.

This person reported that one of the leaders of the crews had threatened him when he was warned by some irregularities in the company.

The Civil Guard identified the author of these threats, a man, an Algerian national, an employee of the company, on which the investigation was initiated.

More than ten years extorting foreign workers

The investigation uncovered practiced that after these threats, other illegal actions related to the person under investigation to the commission of the crimes of fraud and extortion to workers engaged in the collection of the goods in farms existed.

Operation 'LIMONCCELO' has culminated in the arrest of a male person of Algerian nationality and 40 years who is credited with authorship of the crimes alleged crimes of fraud continued against the right of workers, extortion and threats .

The arrest and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Murcia.
