Javier Ruano announced today that the Board of Trustees of the University of Murcia has contributed 10,000 euros to the social background that the University offers to students with financial difficulties.
According to the President of the Social Council, "the Council must do everything in its power to prevent students from our university left out of it for economic reasons, as well the reality is that there are supervening circumstances which sometimes are out of the norm to be beneficiaries of aid for economic reasons and in these cases where the Social Council will provide all support. "
This action is included in the Action Plan of the Social Council for the year 2015 which was approved by all its members last November 2014.
Ruano noted that "10,000 euros provided represent a major effort to this Council, as such amount is 9% of its total budget for carrying out activities in 2015".
