The candidate showed its intention to "enhance the frequencies" of the various lines and design "coordination plan to optimize this public service"

The candidate for mayor of Murcia by the Popular Party, José Ballesta, reported today that "after listening to the claims of the residents of the southern Cordillera and study current public transport, we have developed an improvement plan that includes joint a circular line bus connecting all villages of the South and give access to La Arrixaca. "

This circular bus line will go from Sangonera La Verde to Zeneta, via La Arrixaca and all the districts of the South Mountains: El Palmar, La Alberca, Santo Ángel, Algezares, Garres, San Jose de la Vega, Beniaján, TorreagĂźera and Los Ramos

"Our goal is to improve public services received by residents of the South Mountain range and transport between districts, speeding connections and implementing a system according to the mobility needs of the residents," said the candidate during the meeting held this morning with neighbors in Sangonera La Verde.

"This is a measure included in our electoral program, we are building with the proposals we are making to reach the citizens of Murcia, the various associations, neighborhood groups and districts, and we will carry out if Murcia give us confidence the May 24, "said Popular Party candidate.

Improving frequencies and connection to the center

Moreover, José Ballesta revealed his intention to "enhance the frequencies" of the various lines and design "plan coordination of public transport throughout the city, avoiding duplication of lines and optimizing the service."

With regard to the connection of the districts with the center of the city, the plan includes the implementation of dedicated lanes for public transport with traffic light priority systems, "which will reduce travel time to El Palmar or to Monteagudo" Ballesta said.

Also, in coordination with the Autonomous Region, "we will submit to review the bus lines of the districts, their schedules and frequencies, in order to provide the best possible service to users, with particular attention to connections with universities "he forward the candidate, adding that" this plan is open to input from neighbors, because what we want is the maximum consensus to improve this public service.
