The UCAM works with about 4,000 institutions to enhance the employability of its students (27/04/2015)

The Catholic University power through various agreements that students can both make placements as encouraging entrepreneurship among these.

As differentiator to perform these actions, the UCAM has the ITM Instituto Tecnológico de Murcia, body to promote skills development programs and transversal competences, such as the School of Entrepreneurship;

Have an Idea Program;

High Performance Programs in different sectors;

seminars on leadership, decision making, teamwork and efficient management of resources, among others.

The ITM Institute of Technology Murcia, subsidiary of the UCAM, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship among students held in collaboration with Spain Startup, the second edition of 'UCAM Startup Day ", a day in which investors, professors and successful entrepreneurs have told their experiences in the world of business and analyzed the current situation offering keys to turn an idea into a real project.

One of them was Maria Benjumea, founder and president of Spain Startup, a company that promotes and organizes The South Summit, the premier conference on entrepreneurship and innovation in Southern Europe and Latin America.

Always ready to meet new challenges, age 40 decided to take a chance on a new idea: creating deInfoempleo, unservicio pioneer in finding work through Internet.

During his visit, he told the audience that "entrepreneurship is an extraordinary idea and is the future. You just have to be consistent and believe in that idea for the startup comes forward."

Next, was held the first roundtable participants and Andrés Martínez iUrban company;

Miguel Rodríguez, Professor of Business Administration and Business Administration UCAM;

and Pedro Bisbal, manager of Big Ban Angels.

Ignacio Martinez, founder of Climasol;

and Ivan Leon, entrepreneur and founder of Glexport.

The event was held in the Auditorium of the UCAM, and presenting it has been borne by Alejandro Zamora, director general of the SEF Regional Employment and Training of the Region;

and Estrella Nunez, Vice President for Research of the Institution.

With days like this, the UCAM remains committed to strengthening initiatives for young people to start in the world of business.

The goal is to reach strategies to promote initiatives, they know examples of success and thus facilitate the way to help, contacts and support from the University to put their own projects underway.
