The Casino welcomes the presentation of XII Anaya "Sleep Berlin" award from Children's Literature (24/04/2015)

The Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez, participated this afternoon at the launch of "The Dream of Berlin", the winning book XII Anaya prize for children's literature written by Ana Alonso and Javier Pelegrin.

Both authors have also received the prize of 12,000 personal growth novel written with honesty, which will reach the hearts of readers.

The Minister of Culture of the Municipality of Murcia Anaya wanted to congratulate the convening of these literary prizes and choose the city as a place to present a book as Javier Pelegrin has lived in Murcia for a long period of his life.

The play tells the story of Ana, a teenager with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), when his classmate, Bruno finds the problem, tries to help.

With a lot of momentum, but also with ignorance, will encourage that point to the end of year trip and can fulfill one of his dreams: to visit in Berlin, the head of Nefertiti.

On the other hand, Ana's family life is not without tensions.

Her father encouraged to be like other girls her age, while her mother wants you to medicate and overprotected.

The event was also attended by the editorial director of Anaya Children and Youth, Pablo Cruz, and journalist José Belmonte.

Ana Alonso was born in Terrassa (Barcelona) in 1970, but has lived for most of his life in Leon.

He graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of León and furthered his studies in Scotland and Paris.

He has published eight books of poetry and, among others, has received the Award for Poetry Hyperion (2005), the Critical Eye Award for Poetry (2006) and, recently, Antonio Machado Prize in Baeza (2007) and Alfons the Magnanimous Valencia Award poetry in Castilian (2008).

Among his books aimed at children and young people, in addition to written by Javier Pelegrin (The key of time, Jinn), it is remarkable the Pinch of Salt, directed to Primary Education collection.

Javier Pelegrin born in Madrid in 1967, but has lived in Murcia for much of his life.

There's degree in Philology, completing his studies in Paris and Turin.

She currently works as a professor of secondary education.

Ana Alonso and he coauthored series of fantasy and science fiction key of time, Jinn, Tattoo ... In 2008 they obtained the Steam Boat Award for The Secret of If.
