Ballesta: "We will work with Caritas to create a social commissary targeting the most disadvantaged families" (22/04/2015)

The City will transfer to the local Caritas where the commissary is enabled, in which families most in need can purchase individual commodities, for a symbolic price

"It is one of the measures included in the comprehensive plan for social assistance, because my first commitment is to families experiencing situations of greater vulnerability," says the PP candidate

The PP candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, announced during the meeting with the director of Caritas, José Saura, who "collaborate with Caritas to create a social commissary for the most disadvantaged families."

This is an initiative that José Ballesta take place if elected mayor of Murcia on 24 May, and for which the City will transfer to the local Caritas where the commissary be enabled.

Families who need it most, and that Caritas is open daily, may acquire the different basic products at a nominal price.

"This is a proposal that -HA crossbow that will include within a comprehensive plan for social assistance aimed at families at risk of exclusion, because my first commitment is to Murcia and Murcia spanning more vulnerable situations."

No family without electricity or water

Complementary measures will, as announced Popular Party candidate, the commitment not to allow any family to suffer an outage of water or light for not being able to meet the payment of receipts, through agreements with the suppliers of these services.

Similarly, the City will be responsible for paying these basic services in institutions such as Caritas, as well as other non-profit organizations that provide health care services to the poorest people in the municipality, and maintain partnerships to carry out welfare programs.
