Agents of the National Police have arrested a person pretending to be a victim of a criminal offense, namely a robbery in his home in Murcia.
It has also accused him of theft crime.
On 15 March, a 22-year-old Spanish nationality and resident of Murcia, to the Police Station District San Andrés a complaint in which he claimed to have been the victim of a robbery with violence and intimidation inside your home .
In the account of the facts described as when he was in his room, an apartment shared with other young people, heard noises and leaving the hall was surprised by two men, apparently from eastern countries, who beat him until he lost knowledge;
when he recovered his senses he found that the floor was rough and missing money from your room and the fourth of his roommate and a "tablet".
An investigation was initiated and in the course thereof, agents Group Specialized Crime Police Headquarters of Murcia, found that in one of his statements the complainant incurred some contradictions;
after he confessed that everything was invented reported that since the complaint had to hide who had appropriated the money and the "tablet" to have gambling debts.
He immediately proceeded to his arrest by pretending to be the victim of a crime of robbery and one charge of theft.
In the course of the statement, the now arrested a man of 22 years, said he injured himself in the neck and in one eye, so that the offense was more credible.
The operation was conducted by agents of the Provincial Judicial Police, Crime Specialist Group of the Police Headquarters of Murcia.
