The first activity was the presentation of the photography exhibition 'Funeral of John Paul II 7 and 8 April 2005' by its author, Professor of Communication at the UCAM, Felix Galindo, who covered the wake of John Paul II.
In addition, here is a group of students from Colegio San Vicente de Paul (El Palmar) conducted a wreath to the sculpture of San Juan Pablo II located on the campus of Los Jeronimos.
The ceremony was also attended by the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, who recalled the figure of John Paul II, with whom I had the opportunity to be on several occasions.
Also, Mendoza said that the Catholic University of Murcia was born thanks to the Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae, which was enacted by the pope, and by which the laity could create Catholic universities.
