The general director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, held this morning a meeting with the teaching staff of the public school Vicente Medina of Sangonera la Seca and visited the facilities to meet the ongoing work of teachers with students, and the involvement of families in the educational process.
In this sense, the team of teachers showed programming projects in which students implement their knowledge and creativity and acquire positive values ​​like respect, cooperation, solidarity, care for the environment and a healthy diet.
Among these are the cultural week that this course had the slogan 'Our animal friends', in which students have developed creative activities, such as conducting techniques based painters like Mondrian, Seurat and Van Gogh drawings, or literary contest in which all pupils take part.
"We commend the work done by teachers and how to stimulate and engage students and their families throughout the educational process, contributing to a better living in the center for school success," concluded the Director General of Schools.
The director also addressed the needs and requests made by the educational community center facilities and improvements that have been undertaken to facilitate the work of teachers and students and learning.
Between treated performances is the remodeling of the toilets around the center, work which has been undertaken during this course with an investment of 36,000 euros, and that was one of the pressing needs of teachers, families and students.
